Our curriculum
At the basis of our curriculum is the understanding that all children learn and progress through interacting with their social and physical environments. We provide this framework while utilizing a set of guiding principles for children of all developmental levels. This ensures progress and successes for all children, while progressing children at their individualized learning pace to maximize their gains.
Our curriculum is academic based with a therapeutic approach, utilizing evidenced based practice within our therapeutic interventions in the social, classroom setting. Each classroom incorporates sensory integration throughout the school day, to set the children up for success. We utilize the Early Start Denver Model training, along with applied behavior analysis (ABA), to implement our classroom strategies. The curriculum is additionally supported with the use of Handwriting Without Tears, FUNdations Language & Phonics foundations and Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding therapy.
